Mentor Training Workshop
The mentor training workshop aims to train twenty mentors with new technologies in ubiquitous intelligence, robotics, and mentoring skills as well as promote the development of real-world open problems and projects. The 2023 Mentor Training Workshop will be held in person from Mar. 13 to 17, 2023 with lunch covered. The kickoff meeting will be held online on Saturday, Mar. 11, 2023. Tentative Agenda (subject to change) is listed below. Mentors, please review the Sample Engineering Projects and pick the project category you are interested in working on.

Mentor Responsibilities and Benefits
Each mentor needs attend the one-week mentor training workshop, co-mentor one GUIC summer camp project team. They are also encouraged to attend the Fall STEM Competition Workshop. Each mentor will be supported with stipend.
Mentor Eligibility and Application
All CCSD STEM teachers and college students in STEM majors are eligible to be mentors. Ten teacher mentors and ten undergraduate mentors will be recruited. Teachers from Title 1 schools and unrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
